Wings of Time

Finally, it's time to visit the last attraction, which was also the highlight of my entire Sentosa trip. Why? Read to find out!

We decided to watch the 7.40pm show, but we had nothing to do so we were waiting outside the gate way even before it started! Look at how beautiful the gate was when it's lighted up!

There were many tourists that started taking their phones out to take photos of the gate, including me. 😂 However, despite the light feature being very pretty, I wasn't expecting a lot from Wings of Time and in my mind I was thinking "How good can a night show be?"

At approximately 7pm, we decided to enter to get the best seats and... oh my goodness, look at this wonderful view!

I was pretty worn out after a whole day filled with itinerary, but looking at how pretty the evening view was really made me a look forward to the show! I started taking my phone out to prepare myself for the show. 😄 The light feature at the gate as well as this wonderful backdrop set against the sea was really well presented and it made everyone excited for the show. I feel that the backdrop helped set the atmosphere really well.

At slightly before 7.40pm, the show officially started with the main cast Rachel and Felix's short skit followed by a series of water display and light effects which were really, really spectacular!

Take a look at how pretty the light effects were! All the water displays and special effects were the core product of this show, together with the atmosphere that it set and I have to say, it really increased the atmosphere a lot!

Everyone around me were all quiet and engrossed and engaged in watching the show, all I heard throughout were "Wow!" and "So pretty!!!". I totally understand why because even I was really impressed and amazed by how pretty the show was. It looked so magical as though I was watching a movie instead of a real life night show!

Photos speak a thousand words so I shall let the rest of the photos I took show you how stunning the show was. 😍

After experiencing the show for myself, I can really understand why there's so much overall appeal for tourists because I have to admit, even I enjoyed it a lot. Wings of Time was a really unique experience for me and since it's the only permanent night show in Singapore, it would attract tourists even more.

Award winning indeed, it was a really wonderful show. I was extremely amazed at how the water display, light and fire effects blended so well together.

Up till now I can still remember how fast my heart was racing when the fireworks came on. 🎇 Here's a video of the fireworks!

To be honest, I totally forgot that there was an ongoing plot because the wonderful water display, music and everything else took over the plot!

Not saying it's a bad thing though, I mean, this just means the effects were really perfect. However, it would've been better if they had a stronger plot that were made more obvious throughout the entire show. Also, maybe it would've been better if the casts were replaced with animated characters instead because I feel it'll fit the whole show even more!

Despite all these, I have to say I really did enjoy myself a lot that night. Do pop by their website if you're interested in catching the show too!
