Prior to the trip to Sentosa, I decided I should do some research about the attractions so I'll be aware of what to expect, as well as what One Faber Group has to offer. Well, since I had some research done, just thought I should share my findings with you all!
OVERVIEW
Did you know that Singapore's first ever cable car service was officially opened in 1974 by Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Goh Keng Swee?
Back then, there were only 43 cabins and cabin attendants were required to provide manual shutting and opening of cabin doors. A lot has changed over the past decades and now, the system has increased to a total of 67 cabins. It can even support approximately 2000 passengers per hour! 🙀
There are two cable car lines that connect two different destinations together, Sentosa and Faber Peak Singapore.
ADMISSION TICKETS
By the way, here are the prices for the cable car admission tickets if you're interested! There is actually a promotion for both lines at $33 for adult and $22 for child, which is pretty reasonable!
You can also purchase the tickets for each line separately but as you can tell, it's more worth it to get the package deal instead as it's a lot cheaper.
Save more when you purchase your tickets online! Also, if you wish to enjoy a day of unlimited cable car rides, there's a deal for you too. You may think the prices are slightly overpriced for merely a cable car ride, but it's surely an experience worth trying. 😎
You can even join One Faber Group's membershop and enjoy unlimited cable car rides! On top of that, you can even enjoy unlimited admission into Sentosa island! What a great deal right?
Members can even receive a $5 oBike voucher when they sign up with One Faber Group. Pretty sure this oBike voucher will come in handy when their at Sentosa. 😂 All these are part of how they engage with visitors before they enter the attraction.

Besides the usual cable car ride, there are also other offerings available such as 'Dining on Cloud 9', an extremely unique dining experience in the cabin. Have a special occasion to celebrate with your loved one? You can book a private cabin to enjoy a 4-course meal while being up in the sky, admiring the magnificent view and skyline.

If you're looking for a casual meal with your friends or family, fret not because 'Singapore Delights Onboard Singapore Cable Car' allows you to savour local delights starting from $50 per person.
The above photo is an example of the bento you'll receive, and the set contains Prawn Wanton, Wok Fried Chilli Crab Meat, etc. Looks quite delicious doesn't it?
OVERVIEW
The Merlion, also known as Singapore's most renowned icon, is a mythological creature that has a head of a lion, and a body of a fish. The lion's head represents a folk tale of Prince Sang Nila Utama's legendary discovery of a lion, while the fish's tale represents the fishing village that Singapore used to be.
Thus, mer-lion. Today, Sentosa Merlion has way more fans than you and I! Tourists from all over the world visiting Sentosa will surely drop by to visit this iconic statue. Also, the Merlion stands majestically tall at 37 metres. It is the tallest Merlion statue in Singapore.
ADMISSION TICKETS
This attraction costs a lot cheaper than the cable car ride, it's only $10 for locals!
You can even purchase even cheaper tickets online, just like the cable car promotion. An adult ticket would only cost $12 while the child ticket costs $8.10.
The Merlion has constantly promoted itself on their website so as to engage visitors before they visit the attraction. This way, it will also attract potential visitors that may have the effective demand to visit the Merlion. There are even online promotions that will also attract visitors to purchase tickets prior to their trip!
OFFERINGS/PROGRAMES
Besides climbing up the Merlion statue to enjoy a beautiful view from above, you will also be given a card before entering the attraction to slot into the lucky Merlion statues in exchange for a limited-edition Prosperity Coin! This coin is a souvenir that can only be found at the attraction so don't forget to check it out. There is even a cafe at the attraction for you to shop and bring home even more Merlion souvenirs. How cool is that!
Back in 2013, there was a 'Sentosa Merlion Charity Abseil' where participants can abseil down the statue to raise awareness and funds for children's charity.
Then in 2014, there was a '3D Mapping @ Sentosa Merlion' and the statue came alive with dynamic 3D video projection mapping.
OVERVIEW
Wings of Time is an Award Winning Outdoor Night Show that was created by ECA2 as part of a partnership with Sentosa. This is the only permanent night show in the world made up of presentation of water display, fire effects, music and laser show, that's set against the open sea.
The cast is made up of three characters - Shahbaz, Rachel and Felix and Wings of Time shows their adventure that begins with Shahbaz, a pre-historic bird-like creature that met two of his friends - Rachel and Felix. Together, they traveled across various landscapes. It's basically about their magical journey on Shahbaz's wings, across time.
ADMISSION TICKETS
Well for the Wings of Time, you can choose to purchase either the premium or normal seats which are priced differently as you can see below.
I know, you're probably going to say "This is way too expensive for a light show!" But trust me, the experience is worth it and you have to watch the show for yourself to understand how wonderful it is.
On their website, there's a 'Whats On' page that provides visitors with information as to where they can have their dinner before the show, and also letting them know that they can enjoy $3 off at the food kiosks. All these are ways they've engaged with the visitors before their visit.

Wings of Time is expected to run for a total of 5 years and its offerings to the guests is definitely the experience and beauty of the light and laser shows. Since it's the only permanent night show in the world, that alone makes this show even more special!
